special olympics of tennessee summer games promo poster

This project from Practicum required finding a non-profit organization, contacting them, and designing a poster for a planned event. I contacted Special Olympics of Tennessee, and they had the Summer Games going on that year. I talked with their representative and received the files to be used on the poster. The print size was to be 11"x17". I used Illustrator to make the torch in the background, Photoshop to clean up the provided photos, and Quark Express to put it all together. When it was finished it was printed out to a PDF file for their use. This project gave me valuable experience in working with customers and helping them visualize their ideas.
