Here is my first project using Flash CS4. I first got used to the new layout, since I haven't touched it since it was Flash 5 about ten years ago. I did find the Motion Editor though, which is very much like the Graph Editor in Maya, so I am very happy to see a familiar animation curve editing tool in a program which I never expected to find one. It's not as intuitive as the Graph Editor, and it has some limitations, but it does the job. I could export the banner as an animated gif, but we all know how those turn out. Instead, I exported it as a Flash animation file, and it spewed out the file along with placeholding gifs and a bunch of code to put on whatever page I wanted to put it on, which is pretty handy. I think it's a good start.
